You’ll need to pay baggage charges at the airport when:

• You did not book any checked-in baggage during the booking process and want to check in bags at the airport.
• Your bag weighs more than 23kgs but less than 32kgs.
• If you want to check in more baggage pieces than what you originally paid for.

Additional checked-in baggage

Passengers will be charged R250 per piece of baggage at the airport. Find out more about adding extra bags online.

Heavy bag fee

Passengers will be charged an additional R200 per overweight piece of baggage.

Single pieces of luggage cannot weigh more than 32kgs as this is against Health and Safety protocols and will need to be couriered to your destination.
