You can pay for additional baggage at the airport if:

• You didn’t add any checked baggage when booking and now want to check in a bag.
• Your bag weighs more than 23 kg but less than 32 kg.
• You want to check in more pieces than what you originally paid for.

Additional checked baggage

• R300 per bag when purchased at the airport.

Heavy bag fee

• An additional R200 per checked bag for any item weighing between 23 kg and 32 kg.
• Bags over 32 kg cannot be accepted for check-in due to Health and Safety regulations and must be couriered to your destination.
