Cancelling before any flights have been flown
You can cancel your flights up to 24 hours* before departure without paying any cancellation fees.
PLEASE NOTE: Online cancellations can only be performed for all passengers in the booking and before any flights have been flown. To cancel a booking for only 1 passenger in a booking or for only one flight of your booking, please click here for more information.
To cancel a booking, follow these easy steps:
Step 1
Click on the Manage Booking button on your confirmation email or head over to the Manage Booking page and enter your booking reference number (385#####) and Last name
Step 2
In the Manage Booking Portal you will have the following options:
- Manage your LIFT customer profile (If logged in)
- Cancel your booking
- Change your flights
- Add Extras to your booking
- Print your confirmation
- Email your confirmation
Select the CANCEL BOOKING option.
Step 3
A notice will appear warning you of the cancellation request. To cancel your booking click OK.
Please note that after clicking OK the process cannot be reversed online.
Step 4
Your booking is now cancelled. You will receive an email confirming your cancellation.
The total value of the unflown ticket price will be refunded to your LIFT Wallet when the cancellation is made 24 hours prior to departure. Cancellations made within 24 hours of departure will incur an R250 fee (per person) and will be deducted from the ticket value.
LIFT Premium customers have up to 1 hour before departure to cancel a booking without any cancellation fees.
Cancelling mid-trip or for one passenger?
