The prices below apply when extras are added during the initial booking process. Different fees may apply when extras are added after a booking has been completed.

ECONOMY

• Back-of-plane seats: Free
• Front-of-plane seats: R75 per passenger, per flight
• Emergency exit row seats: R100 per passenger, per flight

Emergency exit row passengers must meet the applicable safety requirements.

PREMIUM

Seat selection is complimentary when booking LIFT Premium. LIFT Premium seats are located in the first three rows of the aircraft.

ECONOMY – NO BAG

• Checked baggage is not included.
• 1 checked bag: R250
• 2 checked bags: R500

ECONOMY – BAG

• 1 checked bag is included.
• 1 additional checked bag: R250
• 2 additional checked bags: R500

PREMIUM

• 2 checked bags and 1 sporting equipment bag are included.
• 1 additional checked bag: R250
• 2 additional checked bags: R500

All checked baggage prices apply per passenger, per flight. Each checked bag may weigh up to 23 kg.

ADDING BAGGAGE AFTER BOOKING

Checked baggage can be added through Manage Booking on our website or at an airport ticket desk after a booking has been completed.

Each additional checked bag costs R300 per passenger, per flight.

For example, one additional checked bag costs R300 on a one-way flight or R600 on a return flight.

OVERWEIGHT BAGGAGE

Checked bags weighing more than 23 kg, but no more than 32 kg, are subject to an additional R200 overweight baggage fee at the airport.

Checked bags may not weigh more than 32 kg. Bags exceeding 32 kg must be transported as cargo at the passenger’s own expense.
