INFANTS

Infant baggage allowances are the same as the accompanying adult who has purchased a LIFT fare that includes hand and checked baggage.

In addition to the standard checked baggage allowance, LIFT will also permit:

• Up to two additional items such as a pram/stroller/carry cot or a car seat or carrier (the checked baggage weight and dimensions will apply)

All items will be tagged at the check-in counters and will be placed on the baggage belt or handed in at the aircraft door prior to embarkation.

Infants may be seated in a car seat provided that:

• The car seat has a sturdy and connected frame 
• The seat allows both quick and easy securing and release of the child 
• The seat must have a single-release harness with straps a minimum of 25mm wide that can secure the child’s lap, torso, and shoulders. 
• When seated in the car seat, the child should not be able to release the harness themselves.

CHILDREN

Children's baggage allowances are the same as the accompanying adult who has purchased a LIFT fare that includes checked baggage.

In addition to the standard checked baggage allowance, LIFT will also permit:

• one additional item such as a pram/stroller or a car seat or booster seat (the checked baggage weight and dimensions will apply)

All items will be tagged at the check-in counters and will be placed on the baggage belt or handed in at the aircraft door prior to embarkation.

Children will not be allowed to sit in a booster seat or any other seats when seated onboard the aircraft.
